Promised Land

As Earth’s natural resources rapidly deplete, the government enacts a desperate draft for a high-risk space mission, selecting those with a specific physical trait crucial for survival, shaking the Black community to its core as it’s forced to reckon with what it means to be both chosen and sacrificed for humanity’s future. Three friends grapple with the absurdity of their uncertain future, using humor, denial, and camaraderie to make sense of the unimaginable.
